First Debris of Vanished AirAsia A320-200 QZ8501
30 December 2014. Indonesian Air Force and SAR Agency have found suspected debris from vanished AirAsia A320-200 QZ8501 floating in Karimata Strait.
The exact location is about 20 km to the east from the last point that the aircraft detected in Karimata Strait on last Sunday.

The debris revealed after Indonesian Air Force CN-235 flew over the suspected ocean.
Dwi Putranto, chief of Navy at Pangkalan Bun said that the debris was like a tank and orange life vest. There are also another debris around the area observed as white and black pieces of aircraft.

This finding give significant point amid search and rescue of vanished AirAsia A320-200 QZ8501.
The AirAsia Airbus A320-200 QZ8501 had lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC) on Sunday. The aircraft was departed Surabaya headed to Singapore.
